Trine Rein is a Norwegian/American artist/singer and songwriter with a history of great international success and album sales in the nineties. Her debut album, Finders Keepers, sold more than 600.000 copies, of which 400.000 were sold in Japan. Two albums later, she had passed one million in album sales during the time when the music business took it's well-known dive in album sales altogether, and the market was taken over by Internet sharing and streaming. Trine Rein was awarded a Norwegian Grammy in 1994 for Best Debut Artist, and the following year she was nominated for the honorable Grammy award, Artist of the Year 1994.
