The recipient of the Jerry Goldsmith Award and the IFMCA award, George Kallis’s scores span the globe having composed scores for over 35 films worldwide. George was born on the island of Cyprus, at the intersection of continents and cultures. This confluence of musical traditions, along with his experience working with filmmakers around the world, has shaped his perspective and enabled his music to transcend language and borders. He studied film composition at Berklee College of Music, and he has a Masters degree in composition from The Royal College of Music. His numerous credits include The Last Warrior trilogy, Joy Division, 93 Days, Albion: The Enchanted Stallion, Highlander: The Source and the trailers for 47 Ronin, Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom and Into the White.
