Liam Jaymes (or Livia Jaymes) is a singer-songwriter who began composing at the age of 12. At the age of 13, he formed a band with his best friends called “K-Scenes.” The band used to perform and was known for their performances in the south zone of Rio de Janeiro and on Rua Augusta in São Paulo. They also performed in Orlando, Chicago, and Memphis, all in the USA. Due to the worsening of his depression and anxiety, the band came to an end in mid-2015. In 2016, Lj decided to end his career by burning all the songs he had composed—over 1,000 at the time—and deleting all recordings from social media and flash drives. In 2020, Lj started venting through music again, this time as a solo independent artist. Due to the great impact of his songs, he received numerous messages of support and messages from people going through similar experiences. Finally accepting his gender identity (Trans Non-binary), Lj decided to change his artistic name to “Lj” and is now determined to continue doing what he loves: music. In the year 2024, Lj signed their first professional artistic contract.
