VIP Watts emerged in 2016, on the underground Soundcloud community, after a series of “Watts Wednesdays” where he covered his favorite artists’ hits during the time. Heavily influenced by likes of early 2000’s Hip Hop and RnB, Watts developed his own sound blending the genres with sprinkles of many others such as alternative, rock, and pop sounds. Whether it is catchy hooks, inspirational advice, brag-a-docious verses, adventurous story telling, or creative melodies, Watts ensures to deliver an authentic sound to his listeners. 
 Born on the Far Eastside of Indianapolis, Indiana, Watts grew up listening to many artist such as Michael Jackson, Boyz II Men, Stevie Wonder, Biggie Smalls, Jay-Z, Eminem, 50 Cent, Ludacris, and many others. He started recording music as early at the age of 15 with his late brother, Dakarai “Dockta Doc” Jaffe, and fellow artist and childhood friend, Skypp. It wasn’t until the age of 26 when Watts decided to release his first project “Very Important” on Soundcloud which included a diverse tracklist composed of YouTube instrumentals and heartfelt verses. 
 More recently, Watts has dropped a series of projects including his “No Love” series, the most recent being kNOw LOVE, two dual projects with childhood friend and business partner Pat P. (B.O.O.C and ALL$tAR$), an inspirational project, (The Climb), and his latest drop “It's Up”.
