Poetic, flowing and cinematic: that is the sound of queer indie artist Aquario's music. His genre: cinematic pop music. The singer/songwriter from Leipzig, Germany has dedicated himself to pop with influences from folk, chamber pop and film music. From vocals to production to lyrics and artwork: Aquario acts autonomously, placing special emphasis on the unity of tonal and visual conception. In this way, he creates a holistic experience around his sonic universe. In spring 2021 he released his debut album "Voyages" on Danse Macabre Records. Originally conceived as a studio project, Aquario is now also on stage as a live act - with either electronic or acoustic setups. Currently Aquario is working on his subsequent concept album.
