Niagara Region based musician and songwriter, Mark Roberts, is known for putting a little squeezebox into just about everything he composes. Little wonder. After beginning his musical studies on the accordion at age 6 under Boris Borgstrom, he quickly progressed. He became Canadian champion by age 14 and competed on the world stage in the prestigious Coupe Mondiale for three years. While working on his ARCT, Mark’s career took a different path. It was not until many years later that Mark discovered the joy of composition. His lyrics, drawn from the rich tapestry of life, are expressive and impactful, while his melodies are memorable.
