Emily Potthast is a composer and pianist located in Washington, DC. Heavily influenced by Sigur Rós, Yann Tiersen, and Max Richter, she focuses on subtle melodies and layers of textured sound - primarily using piano and synthesizers. Briefly playing as the keyboardist for Carousel Rogues in 2006, she currently focuses on solo writing and composition.
