Will Kobus is a 25 year old artist who’s originally from New Jersey but is currently based out of DC. He began writing raps at the age of 15 and began to take his craft more serious within the next couple of years. His debut mixtape, “Faded in Plain Sight” was released back in August 2019 while halfway through college. In 2020, he followed up released a handful of singles which led to the release of “When in Vertigo”, a collaboration project with friend and New York based producer eathn under the moniker FreaWill. His approach to creating is and has been rooted in therapy, with many of his tracks acting as a mirror for him to self-reflect not only on his flaws and shortcomings, but the world around him at large. In 2022 he released a slew of new tracks and videos which all led up to his first solo full-length LP, “full court press”, releasing in early July of that year. 2023 started with the release of “it takes a village”, the first of two collaborative tapes with friend Mettaworldzeke which dropped in March, as well as “on our own two feet” alongside friend GloverOfficial releasing in August. With 2024 now in motion, he has his sights set on releasing two solo projects; an EP with DMV-based producer Senojem in March, followed up by his second full-length solo LP slated for a summertime release.
