Taina Rain is a multi-genre singer & songwriter ranging from house music, to reggaeton, to R&B — born & raised in the vibrant borough; The Bronx, New York. Her artistry is informed by a profound personal experience, as she draws inspiration from the tragic loss of her mother, Jenine Torres, to suicide in 2009. Jenine inspired Taina at a young age, as she was also a singer & poet and in the arts. In the aftermath of this heartbreaking event, she turned to music as a therapeutic outlet. Taina Rain is an artist on a mission. Her music not only showcases her talent, but also serves as a platform to raise awareness about mental health, destigmatize conversations surrounding suicide, and advocate for emotional well-being, & most of all.. healing.
