David is co-founder of Beats Antique, a trio born in the San Francisco performance underground, Burning Man, and West Coast Circus Bass music scene with Zoe Jakes and Sidecar Tommy. Beats Antique has toured the US since 2009 internationally and headlined Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado multiple times. David is also co-founder of Dirtwire. Dirtwire is a fusion of experimental Bass Music and back porch folk music from around the globe with Evan Fraser and Mark Reveley. Between both groups David has co produced and recorded over 20 albums in the past 15 years So much music coming out in 2024 with remixes of East Forest, and collaborations with Vianney Lopez, Poranguí, Liquid Bloom, Tina Malia, OVEOUS, Morillo, Chico Mann, Bliss Looper, 9 Theory, TÂCHES and many more coming!!! Recently David has co-found an international nonprofit organization called “SunRise Studios Collective.” This project builds micro recording / multimedia studios in under-resourced places around the world, with the goal of uplifting youth by giving them a voice and helping to amplify their message through the art of recording and production.
