Starting singing lessons at a young age, Amber soon discovered a great passion for music. This developed further when she took up bass guitar at the age of 14. At 15 she added piano to her repertoire and started composing her own songs. She was prompted to take it more seriously when her best friend asked her to write her a song by the time she would return from her travels at sea. This is the origin story of You and I and started the creative flow of Spread The Love. After this debut, Amber started experimenting with a more jazz and blues inspired sound. She embraced influences such as Etta James and Christina Aguilera whilst writing her second EP Bedroom Blues. This EP also went on to experiment with new instruments that had previously not made an appearance in her songs. Feeling a need to change it up and have her music reflect a more evolved period in her life, Amber started to experiment with a different sound. This started with the groovy Beautiful Day and continued on in Golden Girl. The latter also included more musicians than ever before, providing a more robust sound. In her fourth EP, After All This Time, Amber returns to the piano to help her finish songs that have been in the works for years. She explores a lot of vocal layering to describe intense feelings and walks the line between sing-songwriter, blues and rock. Currently, Amber is releasing a collection of collaborations exploring a wide range of genres to surprise her audience once more.
