That Girl, also known as Tanya van Schalkwyk, is a talented singer and songwriter from Benoni, South Africa. Born on September 23, 1991, she has been immersed in the world of music from a young age, igniting her passion for songwriting. Tanya's journey in the music industry began when she got the attention of local producers, showcasing her prowess in crafting lyrics and vocals across various genres, including EDM, Deep House, and Pop Rock. Her distinct talent and creativity soon caught the ear of the Polish music producer, Robbie Seed, who invited her to collaborate on a Trance track. This led to their debut single, 'Behind That Pretty Smile', which gained recognition and was signed by the renowned trance legend, Paul Van Dyk, and released on the iconic Vandit label. Their musical synergy continued to rise as they came to the attention of Armada superstar, Andrew Rayel, opening the door to an incredible opportunity. Together, Robbie Seed and That Girl joined forces with Andrew Rayel to produce a monumental vocal anthem titled 'Stars Collide'. This track reached new heights when it was picked up by the mighty Armin van Buuren and released on his flagship label, 'Armind'. That Girl also released an iconic remake of 'In Silence' with Hel:Sløwed and collaborated with other renowned artists like Ruben de Ronde, Craig Connelly, among others.
