Demian Dorelli, born and raised in London, is a pianist and composer who was always surrounded by music. His classical formation didn’t stop him from approaching jazz music and electronic music, but, on the contrary, it has enriched his production. He collaborated with artists like Pacifico (for the song “Canzone Fragile” taken from his 2019 album Bastasse il Cielo), Alan Clark (Dire Straits), and Simone Pace (Blonde Redhead). October 2021 saw the release of his first solo piano album, “Nick Drake’s PINK MOON, a Journey on Piano" via Ponderosa Music Records. The album was recorded at Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios together with legendary engineer Tim Oliver & producer Alberto Fabris. Composed of eleven tracks, Dorelli plays solo piano and honours the late musician Nick Drake in a sort of dialogue with him, between past and present. 2023 saw the release of Dorelli's 2nd album of nine original compositions for solo piano. The pieces of 'My Window' were inspired by great artworks from artists, Hockney, Vermeer, Menzel & Hammersøi. Beautiful album artwork again by the Italian artist, Franco Matticchio. 2024 will see the release of his 3rd record, something different this time with longer form compositions for Piano, Cello (Caroline Dale) & French Horn (Elisa Giovangrandi). 'A Romance of Many Dimensions' took elements from the 1884 novella Flatland, by Edwin A. Abbott as stimulation to create this VII Part emotive journey through a tapestry spaces.
