To my core, I am an artist. I have always been drawn to all forms of creativity--singing, poetry, and painting. All forms of art bring me joy but music...music is vital to my soul. Born in Boston and raised in the heart of Roxbury Ma, I grew up listening to many different genres of music--everything from Rock to Soul to Jazz/Blues, Gospel, Funk, NeoSoul from artists like Aerosmith, Rolling Stones to Nina Simone, Miles Davis, Chic Corea, Stylistics and Teena Maria, Parliament Funkadelic and Prince, just to name a few. I have an eclectic repertoire of vinyl albums going back to 1970s. The one genre of music I met that I will never forget is Hip Hop! I fell in love when I first heard the smooth rhythm and flow of Rakim. I nearly lost my mind over Nas, Jay-Z, Slick Rick and of course Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five! My personal experience with music comes as lead and soloist in a Mass Choir for 13 years as well as recieving some vocal training at Berklee School of Arts. I also contributed to vocals on 2 tracks Ruthless and Grass Greener on My Lawn My proudest achievement however is the T.I.M.E EP. It was a coming together of 3 creative minds--my squad-- myself, OX and Kay Wattz. We have our own distinct and unique styles and when we pooled our creative energy we created hard hitting lyrics with a blend of old and new school hip hop topped with an R&B flavor. But, you aint seen nothing yet! We are back in the lab working hard to bring you more of that classic gas
