Kafaun was born in Atlanta, Georgia 2/6/1996. After growing up taking on the likes of music genres such as Jazz,R&B and the early elements of Hip-Hop/Rap he feels like it’s important touch each genre when it comes to his music. His first breakthrough entrance on the rap scene was back in 2018 with the song “Put Me In The Game” a remix of Lil Wayne’s “Hail Mary” Feat. Juelz Santana. After shooting a video of the remix he started to get local buzz throughout the city. Along with the small time hit came his debut album “Freedom” an album talking about the pain and struggles he’d witnessed in the previous years. In late 2018 he formed the group/label named RTMG (RoundTable Music Group) with artists he’d built a friendship with through personal situations and music. After locking in the studio for some time they were able to build up an album titled “BlacK5Day” a full album consisting of 15 tracks mostly produced by Kafaun himself. After running into constant trouble with sample clearing his music was pulled and removed from streaming platforms which caused distributors/label owners to pull back from working with him after some time. Leaving him with nothing but underground releases that he’d previously released on underground platforms such as SoundCloud and spinrilla. After taking a big hit friends who were then backing up his name and label were now slowly turning their backs and creating their own sound. Leaving him with just a label of one and a studio that’s home based.
