I go by Brother Mer-C. I'm a gospel rap artist and producer, as well as the owner of "Love, Grace and Mercy Productions". I'm a husband of 15 years and a father of 5 kids. I surrendered my life to the Lord Jesus Christ in 2017 and I've been on fire for God ever since!! I'm now a Pastor and the Media Director at Shiloh Christian Center. I'm also a carpenter, a youth mentor, and a men's ministry leader. I started writing/rapping/singing in 1999... Recorded my first project/mixtape in 2003... Got serious about music in 2008... Legitimized my first record label in 2011... (B.C.) I spent most of my life on the streets doing everything that's promoted to us according to rap culture. I eventually dropped out of high school to chase my dream, that was absolutely foolish, but at the time it seemed to be my only hope out of the lifestyle I was living... Fast forward to 2017, I was sick and dying of diabetes... at that time I was given the gospel of Jesus Christ and shortly after that I got saved!! Meanwhile I was stepping into a 5 album, 10 year, 100 million dollar business endeavor and the Lord said to me "what shall It profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his own soul"? From that point on, I dropped everything to follow Christ and by the grace of God, I wouldn't turn back for a second!! The Power of God for salvation is in the Gospel of Jesus Christ!! That's the message I hope to convey in every song I release and every word that I speak!! There's no better news!!
