Michael Fine is a complete musician: clarinetist, composer and producer. He is widely acknowledged as one of the top classical recording producers in the world (Grammy Award winning Classical Producer of the Year). Fine has produced many recordings with renowned artists and ensembles including Myung Whun Chung, Valery Gergiev, Daniel Harding, Eliahu Inbal, YannickNezet-Seguin, Paavo Järvi, Emmanuel Pahud, Renaud Capuçon, Gautier Capuçon, Marie-Pierre Langlament, Sumi Jo, Nicholas Angelich, Bertrand Chamayou, the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestre de Paris, London Symphony Orchestra, Czech Philharmonic, Rotterdam Philharmonic and the Quatuor Ébène among many others. Recordings produced by Michael Fine appear on labels such as Deutsche Grammophon, Decca, Warners, EMI, BMG Classics, and have wonvirtually every major award in the recording industry, including numerous Grammys, Edison Prize, Deutsche Schallplatten (Echo), Grammophone Award, Diapason d’Or, etc. In addition to recording production, Fine has been active in artistic planning for orchestras including the Rotterdam Philharmonic and Gergiev Festival Rotterdam, Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France and the Seoul Philharmonic. Fine was Vice President of A&R at Deutsche Grammophon, He began composing in 2013: his scores are published by Le Chant du Monde in Paris and Donemus in The Netherlands. Recordings of his music appear on SONY, Naxos and Evidence.
