It is definitely not a long shot to say that Prov is focused and bent on becoming the next hip-hop sensation from Queens. He’s always walked around as if he had something to prove. Whether a freestyle or full song, Prov always makes it known that he won’t let up on his lyrical abilities. Inspired by the likes of fellow Queens MCs G-unit, Nas, Mobb Deep and Rakim, he is as hungry as ever to be mentioned with these artists. Before the release of "Stand Clear" Prov was accepted into the University of Buffalo. From there Prov began performing regularly improving his stage performance while building his fan base. Within his first two months at Buffalo, He had received air time from numerous radio stations and by the time "Stand Clear" was released, it gained over 1000 downloads respectively. Due to the success of his music as well as his passion for his art. Prov considered taking some time off from school to pursue his music career 100%. In an interview for WRUB he was asked "What makes you different?" He laughed and said, "A lot of artist have big dreams with no real plan to achieve it. You give me a shot, and I won't miss".
