Gummy Venus are a trio formed by Federico Bosi (base, vocals), Ilaria Past (synth, piano, vocals) and Davide Guzzon (guitar), based in northern Italy. A group of friends formed one evening, meeting by chance in a pub. Between one jam session and another, they talked about the common desire to create a project that conveyed electronic music, with distorted guitars, scratchy sounds, deep beats and nostalgic synth with some references to lofi music. The fusion of the past musical experiences of the trio, originates a particular sound, attributable to various genres, such as post-rock, electro-pop, alternative, chillout, etc.. Their first single is called Take My Place, out on January 30 2021.
