IVAR is an accomplished recording and performing artist from Amsterdam NL. He started his professional carreer after dropping out of Music Conservatory, releasing his first solo album soon after. The album simply named "IVAR" touches both classic and neo-soul, unique to the Dutch music scene at the time. His second album "Shorelines" borders on what he discribes as a more “folky side of soul’. IVAR is also a main member of Dutch electrofunk group Kraak&Smaak, writing and performing with them, and touring all over the world.
