With his numerous projects, Elian Dust has been a welcome guest on the stages of this world for many years so far. Inspired by the budding rave-culture of the 90’s, he was fascinated by the low- frequented urban- industrial soundscapes. Marked by Loveparade & Co., his first path led him into the mainstream, adjusted to the temporal trends, but always with artistic aspiration. Passion and ambission accompanied him on his way from the first mixtape in the mid 90`s with tape deck, CD player and turntable up to the 3rd place in the year 2000 at the Techno Award in the Vienna Volksgarten. Pursuing his way on the steep career ladder, the next big achievements were just a matter of time: 2 Austrian Dance awards, winner of a remix contest on Beatport, performing live on the Nikki Beach in Miami, Amnesia and Privilege on biza and finally at the Sziget and Balaton Sound festivals in Hungary. Currently, Elian Dust is steering his sets – always with a percussive touch – into the Tech-House and Groove direction, as you can also hear in his “Nachtflug Radio” Podcasts, and finally he is getting back to his roots. His latest releases on Saved and Moonbootique as well as the first collaboration with Mat.Joe on Toolroom Records "Shine" are demonstrating, what a wide range of electronic music Elian Dust is able to cover. Andrew Mellers fabolous remix of Elians "Celtic Girl" reached 3 mio. streams. In summertime, Elian Dust is regularly performing as Resident DJ of the Vienna City Beach Club.
