AIVIS are an electronic pop duo. Aidan is from Paisley in Scotland and Travis is from near Columbus in Ohio. The pair co-produce all their tracks remotely - both of them write the music with Aidan also providing lyrics and vocals. The name AIVIS is a portmanteau of their first names. Their style has been compared to The Postal Service, Owl City, Pet Shop Boys, and Daft Punk. In November 2016 they released their debut single The Wilderness with a music video filmed in Chicago. In March 2017 they released a follow-up single Sky with a music video made from behind-the-scenes footage from the first video. In September 2017 they released their debut album Constellate, followed by music videos for My Archipelago and Dark, filmed in Glasgow. They played their first show in Glasgow in Oct 2017 as support for Low Island in Stereo Bar. In Jan 2018 they played the famous King Tut's Wah Wah Hut venue in Glasgow as support for Alvarez Kings, and later played SWG3 as support for OK Button. AIVIS have collaborated with other artists including Dancing With Ruby, Keytne, Alpine Blizzard, T3RRV, and The Mark Hill Project. They released two remix EPs - The Wilderness - Remixes and My Archipelago - Remixes. In August 2018 they released their last single and music video - Love Me. Since then they have gone on to work on other projects, Aidan was in Kasaya and Travis has several solo projects under the moniker 'travisnotcool'.
