Silverheart was born in 2011 in Rosario, Argentina, essentially as a power metal band with elements of symphonic and nü metal, mainly influenced by bands like Sonata Arctica, Stratovarius, Nightwish, Kamelot, Disturbed, Linkin Park, System Of A Down, etc. The first line-up was formed by Fernando Grandi (Vocals), Darío Núñez (Guitars), Carlos Sotelo (Bass), Germán Delgado (Keyboards) and Federico Bosch (Drums). In April 2012, they released their first three-song demo on YouTube. At the end of 2012 Maximiliano Torri replaced Carlos Sotelo on bass. In March 2013, they released their first EP called "The Dark Lighthouse", published in 2014 in digital format. Some months later, they began to record what would become their first studio album, Forsaken Words. The album was released in December 2015 and has received good reception and wide acceptance from the audience and local media, as well as listeners from many countries around the World. In April 2019 they released their second album called Destination. On September 14th 2020, they released a new EP called “Queens of metal”, a metal tribute to Queen. On July 22th 2022 they released an Iron Maiden's cover of the song "Only the good die young". At the end of 2022 Esteban Pisani replaced Darío Núñez on guitar, conforming the current line-up. Between 2017 and 2019 they supported bands like Sonata Arctica, Amaranthe, Delain, Blackoustic (Kotipelto & Liimatainen) and Visions of Atlantis in Argentina.
