WakeupGeoff is the alternative RnB project of New Zeland based singer/songwriter Geoffrey Clayton. formed in the winter of 2018, the sound and style quickly took shape with a few lowkey soundcloud releases of hazy RnB songs with ambient soundscapes and metallic percussion. After a short hiatus, WakeupGeoff released his first offical mixtape, "I wont feel a thing", attempting to expand on his early releases, with harder hitting drums, multilayered vocals and live instruments, as well as significant contributions from artists such as New York indie singer/producer Lance Perrier, Brazilian rapper/visual artist Jay Nensei and Tahitian Artists/engineers kadavrescky and Jay Rota. Although the mixtape wasnt a commercial success, WakeupGeoff will continue as passion project, releasing new music in 2023, starting with the single "Think of You".
