Kavi is a self-taught artist who is based in Edmonton, Alberta. He started his music career in 2011 where he first learned how to mix and master by reading music books and watching youtube tutorials. He then taught himself how to sing, he knew he had a voice but he knew he had to work on his voice to achieve his sound. Kavi has mixed and mastered all of his songs. Kavi’s music is inspired by 6lack, The Weekend, and Partynextdoor. He focuses’ his work into the darker side of music, touching on subjects that are taboo where not many people venture down.
