Abstrakt Syntax Around 2015 the duo (consisting of Koen Janssen and Wouter Hollanders) started producing electronic dance music. The love for the bass genres surpasses the all the other genres in EDM. Because of this passion for dubstep and drum & bass, the duo made the decision back in 2017 to continue with these genres under the name Abstrakt Syntax. With the emphasis on the violent bass genres in electronic music, they slowly emerge in the South of the Netherlands. By winning the Beukavond DJ-contest by Code Rood, the duo got the chance to give their first DJ-set completely driven by the bass genres. Abstrakt stands for the unique music style that they use in conjunction with the syntax. The syntax are the methods used for this unique music style, which is, as it were, programmed by the duo. Last year, "The Drum" was released on Stagma Records and The Necronomicon EP was released on May 21. Recently they also made funky remix of Portugal The Man - Feel It Still, available as a free download on Scrictly Deep DnB.
