Brooklyn native, Tuu Ra gained a love for music at a young age. His Afro-Caribbean upbringing inspired him to begin writing & producing with a distinct style. In his younger years he developed his song writing skills as a rapper in the Hiphop genre while simultaneously making beats. After collaborations with Afrobeats artist & a trip to Ghana for the Year of Return, Tuu Ra has continued to display his versatility in the Afro-Fusion genre. He explains that music is important to him because it is a tool to invoke delight, motivation, and wellness which is needed to accomplish goals in life.
