Giuseppe Cistola's musical journey began early, sparked by a passion for guitars he discovered at home. In 2016, he began formal studies at the Jazz Conservatory in Fermo, Italy. In 2019, Giuseppe achieved a milestone by receiving recognition from Berklee College of Music at the Umbria Jazz Clinics, where he was awarded a scholarship and selected as the top guitarist, leading to the opening concert of the Umbria Jazz Winter 2019 festival. That year also saw the formation of the Giuseppe Cistola Quintet. In 2020, he released his debut album, "Por La Calle Argentina," on Emme Record Label, showcasing ten original compositions by Giuseppe. Despite the challenges of 2020, he became a finalist in the "Premio Massimo Urbani" competition and expanded his vision with a new project, "The Five Elements". This project won him a recording session for 2021. Giuseppe graduated in jazz guitar from the Conservatory of Fermo in 2021 and continued his studies, earning a master's degree in jazz guitar from the Conservatory of L'Aquila in June 2024. On October 17, 2024 , he released his new single "Spiritual," featuring his quartet and world-renowned saxophonist Michael Rosen. His commitment to musical excellence continues to define his path as an emerging artist in the jazz scene.
