Born in Algeria, Djouher entered the music scene in late 2018 with her first single Always On My Mind. She often switches between English, Arabic and French, exploring new ways to transcribe her emotions into music. She relies on self-reflection, growth and the world around her when writing her stories. In late 2020 Djouher took part of the SAWTIK initiative (by Spotify) that allowed her to meet new artists from MENA, inspiring her to embrace her North African culture and expand her musical horizons. In her song 111 she introduces her listeners to a new world she created, a world where she embraces her weaknesses– a comment on how vulnerability is a power, not a flaw. 111 is also the first track where she introduced new languages to her songs embracing her Algerian roots.
