Federico Albanese is a genre-defying Italian musician, composer, multi-instrumentalist, and producer. His musical versatility is a natural gift that pushes him to explore music in all its facets. Albanese's cinematic instrumental tracks, blending contemporary classical, pop, and electronic ambience, struck an instant chord for their airy, meditative beauty. Released in February 2014, his highly acclaimed debut solo album The Houseboat and the Moon has been described as “one of the most beautiful modern classical albums of the past years”. Albanese’s second album The Blue Hour saw the light of the day on January 15, 2016. For The Blue Hour Federico took inspiration from the brief transitional state between day and night, writing a collection of chamber-music miniatures. Albanese’s third full-lenght By the Deep Sea was released on February 23rd, 2018. Albanese's 4th studio album Before And Now Seems Infinite was released on February 25, 2022 by Universal Music Group’s imprint Mercury KX, including collaboration with british artists Ghostpoet and Marika Hackman. Albanese is known internationally for his intense touring activity, that over the years lead him to perform hundreds of solo concerts and festivals across the world including Womad (UK), Montreux Jazz Festival (CH) or SXSW in Austin and the Elbphilarmonie Grosser Saal in Hamburg, touching countries such as Australia and Iran.
