I was born in Frankfurt, Germany in 1983. Both of my parents were in the Military and my mother was stationed at the hospital where I was born. My given name is William Colon, I was named after the famous latin musician Willie Colon by my father, so in a way I guess I was destined for a life filled with music. Growing up in the 80s, MTV was the brand new thing at the time and music videos were super cool to watch. A lot of my influences came in to play as I grew older. In the 90s, the likes of Tupac and Snoop Dogg and Ice Cube, could be heard blasting through the house, much to my mother's disapproval 😊 Rap was continuing to make it's mark on the music industry and I knew I wanted to be a part of that. My brother Michael and I would hold freestyle rap battles with the neighborhood kids in Tacoma's Hilltop area and later on in Oakland area of Tacoma. Being able to make my own album has been a dream come true. It is truly an inspiration and many life lessons have been learned. I don't recommend it to everyone, it's not for the faint of heart 😊 My parents taught me that hard work and determination pays off in the end. And also to treat people as you would like to be treated. My music is an extension of my life and values and I hope to someday leave a legacy of it for my children and their children
