JOE SONAR represents a brand new project from Bristol based artist and music producer Joe Baker. Formerly known as KREED, Joe’s sonics have taken the UK sound system music scene by storm in recent years, resulting in collaborations with artists such as Gardna, Eva Lazarus, Rider Shafique, Catching Cairo, Killa P and many more. Alongside performances across staple UK festivals such as Glastonbury and Boomtown, Joe’s work as KREED also received heavy rotation on BBC Radio 1 & 1xtra, Rinse FM, Reprezent and KISS Fresh. Moving into 2024 with a fresh alias, the JOE SONAR soundscape explores the depths of UK Bass music, whilst taking influence from across a wide scope of styles such as Neo Soul, Afrobeats, Psychedelia and Experimental styles from across the globe. With solid foundations of heavy low end frequencies coloured by cinematic melodies and intricate effects, the sound waves of JOE SONAR are set to reach new and exciting places this year.
