Aryan Siswanto Bin Kamsani or Yanto Sani, is a true patron of the arts. His music has captured the hearts of the regional scene, and his influence has rippled throughout the local music industry. His earliest contributions include a decade of performing in at least 5 bands, Sound Salvation, KALYSA, Wicked Aura, Aryan Band and Aegyptie. In 2014, he opened his own barbershop The Golden Rule with the aim of providing high-quality barbering and as well as educating aspiring barbers who wish to elevate their skills. To date, The Golden Rule has been the recipient of numerous international awards and accolades. In 2016, Yanto Sani met prodbydan, a music producer and founder of Allure Records. Sharing similar interests in music, the pair formed Jagad Edge and they released their first drum and bass single titled “Hallusinasi” featuring singer, MANG OK READY. Shortly after that, the duo released “ONLY” which featured Firwan Johan and Miikothe13th. “ONLY” racked up 6 nominations at APM and both tracks were on Ria 89.7’s charts for multiple weeks after their release. The pair’s last collaboration as Jagad Edge was a self-titled EP in 2019 consisting of 5 tracks featuring a myriad of guest singers. Despite taking a break, the two kept in touch and reunited once again in 2021 and took on Projek Lagu, a national songwriting competition hosted by Mediacorp’s Suria. Their goal was not only to win but to make a statement — that the alternative Malay music movement deserved the spotlight.
