South African producer/songwriter/DJ C’Kane was born in Kroonstad (Free State). He grew up involved in choirs and studies but developed a love of rapping by the age of 10. By the age of 19, he went to Vaal University Of Technology & studied IT (Information Technology) then changed to Retail Business Management. That’s when he was introduced to FL studio & started making beats in 2017. He collaborated with different artists & producers in the music industry. Ckane’s 2022 EP "SISEMPINI" with BlaQ Hope, further showcased his talent and creativity. The EP received critical acclaim for its innovative blend of darting keys and luscious pads, which added a polished shine to the Amapiano genre while preserving its soulful essence. He then became popular with private school piano sounds. His latest work, including "Out Of The Blue", "Joy" and "Winter’s Tale" has continued to garner praise in the music industry.
