RollXM Joey is an American rapper and lyricist. Born and Raised in West LA, California, RollXM Joey had quite the upbringing. Abandoned as a baby in LA’s notorious MacArthur Park, RollXM Joey kept that experience close and a chip on his shoulder. Along the way, he used the death of his adopted mother as motivation for an outlet. He credits his success to alma mater, Academy of Music and Performing Arts Alexander Hamilton HS. He is a self taught, artist who started his musical journey as a teenager. He began his career in music by recording mix tapes under the pseudonym Joey. His first musical contract was signed at the age of 21 with record label Freshboy Productions. He later went on to form a hip hop group (ShahTeam) and released his mixtapes and singles along with actively taking part in stage shows and tours. As part of his career, he has been associated with artists like T.I, Snoop Dogg, Pusha T, G-Eazy, Flatbush Zombiez, Iamsu, Dom Kennedy, Curren$y, Warren G and Casey Veggies.
