Known for his rich unique voice and disarming charisma, Yoan has touched people’s heart at the French version of The Voice ‘La Voix’ second edition. His first self titled album was Certified Platinum in sales within just three weeks of its release and awarded “Top Selling Canadian Album of the Year” by the CCMA for two years in a row and was also nominated in the ‘’Fans Choice’’ category. At 19, he became the top selling Canadian artist of the year with 130 000 albums sold. To end up his first tour, Yoan played at the Bell Center and the Videotron Centre where he became the first and the youngest artist to present his show. His DVD “Yoan Live au Centre Videotron” has been certified platinum only in a few weeks. In 2016, Yoan was named ‘’Artist of the Year’’ at the Indie Awards and won the “Country Music Award” at the Socan Awards. 2 years later, he made his own record company and produced his 2nd album “Depuis longtemps” which has won ‘’Felix de l’album de l’année – Country’’ at the ADISQ award. The long break brought on by the pandemic gave Yoan the opportunity to reflect on himself. After having experienced immense success very early in life, he became fully aware of the distance that exists between reality and the vision he has. He now owns his individuality, desires and has finally found what makes him come alive.
