Phat Flo has been waiting to grace the scene with his smooth flows and distinct tone. Growing up in Perth, Western Australia Flo started rapping at the age of 16. Growing up listening to all 90s Hip Hop greats, he was inspired by the sounds from the Dirty South; Jeezy, T.I., Yo Gotti, Gucci Mane to name a few. At a time before streaming music was at our finger tips, the only way to discover new Hip Hop in Australia was by digging through the likes of The Source, XXL magazines and endless hours at the CD store. By then Flo knew where his heart was with Hip Hop. Over the years of writing and finding himself, Flo always felt he had something different to offer. The talent of putting words together and effortless delivery kept him honing his skill, raising the bar each time. His passion and enthusiasm for music is a way of life. Music always meant much more to him than being famous or for seeking attention. Music and writing was a source of an escape, a journal of he’s thoughts and a voice. Phat Flo is set to make 2020 the year he finally takes his music out the bedroom and into the world.
