Biography

Born in 1987, after his studies in Paris CRR with A-L. Gastaldi, Gaspard Dehaene got two Master degrees at Paris CNSM : Piano in B. Rigutto and D. Pascal’s classes, and vocal accompaniment with A. Le Bozec. Admitted in Salzburg Mozarteum, he continued his musical studies with J. Rouvier and with R. Shereshevskaia in Paris Ecole Normale. Successful in different international competitions, he has already a major concert experience, being invited in many prestigious festivals in France such as -La Roque d’Anthéron, la Folle Journée de Nantes, Radio France Montpellier, Flâneries musicales de Reims, Orangerie de Sceaux, Piano en Valois, l’Epau, Colmar, Nohant, Artenetra... - and abroad, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Morocco, New Caledonia, China…. Passionate chamber music player, he shares concerts with prominent artists such as A. Boisseau, P. Génisson, R. Guyot, V. Julien-Laferrière, G. Gaussé or A. La Marca. He already made several different recordings, and his first solo cd, dedicated to the Fantasy form was highly praised in musical magazines. Recently named "Generation Spedidam" artist, he made his debut in Tokyo OJI Hall in September 2017, followed by an invitation to perform in New York Guggenheim Museum. More recently, Paris Philharmonie invited him to perform Liszt 1st Concerto with Pasdeloup Orchestra and Elena Schwarz as conductor, on the 13th of January.
