Rev. Fr. Shreen Lowe OSB born on 5th of September 1984 in Chilaw, Sri Lanka is a Monk of the Sylvestro Benedictine Congregation and a Catholic Priest. He holds several degrees including a Licentiate in Dogmatic Sacramental Theology from the University of Sant’Anselmo, Rome; a Baccalaureate Degree in Philosophy from the Pontifical Urban University, Rome; a Baccalaureate Degree in Theology from the Pontifical Urban University, Rome. Currently he is reading for his Doctorate in Theology in the University of Sant’Anselmo, Rome. He has served the Church in many capacities: as a Professor of Theology at the National Seminary of Our Lady of Lanka, Kandy; as the Vice Rector and a teacher of St. Clement’s College, Kandy; as the Procurator of St. Sylvester’s Monastery, Montefano, Kandy; as the Financial Administrator of the Sylvestro Benedictine Congregation, Sri Lanka; as an Assistant Priest at the National and Historical Shrine of St. Anthony of Padua, Wahacotte etc.
