Blakhol are an audiovisual collective from Turkey. They released their debut EP About Time and next single Again in 2020, followed up by two collab singles After All and Ateş ve Su. Blakhol tracks feature intimate vocals, synth based and organic soundscapes, minimal haunting melodies and solid beats. The group explores trip hop, synth pop and IDM infused flavors, as well as club friendly rhythmic textures and blends them into emotional, dark and melodic works. Blakhol consists of a dynamic group of diverse musicians focused on producing songs, vibes, beats and atmospheres that influence and invoke emotion and imagination. Blakhol’s previous EP Violet featured Nilipek., Mabastet and Terry Jorrys; steering their musical vision to a nostalgic space between synth pop and rock. Their latest single "Daha" featuring Göksu has an enchanting noir vibe with an organic trip-hop essence; they keep developing and producing new collaborations with various singers and artists. Opening the night for Oscar and the Wolf in Ankara and showcasing their audiovisual set at Sonar Istanbul 2024, Blakhol are inherently sculpting their live act and working on new performance concepts and events.
