Xay Bones aka Xavier Jones started out as a producer around March 2020 during the COVID-19 quarantine lockdown. Xay was learning how to make beats and then decided to rap on them because he was bored during lockdown. Only his 19th birthday July 10th he released his debut mixtape "Bones in the Graveyard" which featured aggressive fast paced drug, party and introspective lyrics. Highlights include flying away from all your problems on "Fly away", an aggressive hard hitting banger on "Ballin" paying homage to Kobe and Kevin Garnet and reminiscing on how he grew up on "Memories." Once he got better with making beats he started to sell them to more artists online. As he got better at his production he has an upcoming single called "Never Fold" produced by him dropping on February 26th, 2021.
