Since bursting on the scene in 2017, Tamahuma X showed that he would not be easily defined. His first album, "The Dark Ages," featured a blend of rock, hip-hop, and jazz influences as a backdrop to a critique of the political climate of the time. In his 2018 follow-up E.P., "fakehuman", he got more introspective, and shift to an electronic sound. In 2020, he released two works, including "MORTAL," which directly follows the themes of "fakehuman" and "RACEWAR," a hip-hop record that confronts police brutality head-on. X always evolves, making him a fascinating artist to watch. In 2021, X will release his 3rd full length album, "Purgatory."
