Andrea Marchesino, born in 1995, is a classically trained guitarist with a natural inclination toward jazz. He earned his classical guitar diploma at the age of 22, having already performed a long series of concerts across Europe. In 2019, he collaborated with one of Italy’s most eccentric musicians, Daniele Sepe, who invited him to perform in several concerts of his latest album, The Cat With the Hat (alongside Roy Paci and Hamid Drake), as well as to contribute to the recordings of Le Nuove Avventure di Capitan Capitone. In 2020, Andrea recorded an album during the first lockdown, titled “Quaranta”, a blend of jazz and world music featuring over thirty musicians from around the globe. For the past four years, Andrea has been actively working as an arranger for his record label, "Controra Records," affiliated with the "MID SIDE aps" association. He has contributed to numerous music productions as a musician and arranger. Currently, he is on tour with Marta dell’Anno’s new album (which he produced and arranged), with the ensemble Guappecartò, and with Matteo Nocera's new project: NGASA NGASA, a Mediterranean groove bridging Marseille and Naples. Andrea Marchesino has performed with: Daniele Sepe, Roy Paci, Hamid Drake, Hattie Webb, Danilo Gallo, Bernardo Guerra, Simona Boo, Marta dell’Anno, Lavinia Mancusi, Kim Yeore, RioSacro, Giovanni Mastrangelo, and many others.
