NEVO Neville Mulama, also known by his stage name “Nevo” is a 24-year-old artist based in Nairobi, Kenya. Born and raised in Umoja, Neville has been singing since the age of 11. He released his first song on 11th march 2021 entitled ‘Copy Paste’ ft Yung Lawd, marking the start of a remarkable musical journey. Starting off as a rapper, he majorly focuses on hiphop but isn't shy to jump onto other genres such as afrobeats and amapiano. Some notable achievements include being featured on episode 3 of the door knockers cypher and on the latest alternate. sound ke mixtape He draws inspiration comes from rap artist Kanye West and J Cole whereas, on the local scene, Wakadinali, Khaligraph, Fena gitu and Nyashinski. Despite never receiving any formal training in music, his growth has been based on his love for making music and resilience through trial and error so as to find his sound and rhythm.
