Born February 8th to Diane Williams of Asbury Park, he was later adopted by The Savage family of Neptune. The first sign that he was truly, a natural-born savage. 8 describes his musical journey as “a complete accident”. From the moment he entered the Savage home 8 notes that it was “bustling with life”. All of his new family members either sang or played some type of instrument. The artist nicknamed “Dayz” recalls entering the home with no type of musical talent or skill; mesmerized by the sounds and feelings music created inside of him. For the past few years he’s been able to silently use music as his therapy. 8Dayz says, “I thank god I have somewhere to redirect my energy and thoughts. Some people go their whole lives without falling in love with something.” 
 After not releasing a project in almost 7 years, Dayz is ready to enter the industry again. After being known as Mike Sav for decades, he says the name change is very important to him and his career. “When people hear your name and your brand it should speak of your core values,” he says “My whole life has been about adapting and making due with what I have.” 8DAYZ-STR8 simply represents going the extra mile to ensure you make it across the finish line.
