The Virginia-born artist KIL has shown a pattern of consistency and dedication to the art of hip-hop. KIL is recognized for his smooth, unorthodox delivery, his clever word play, and range of perspectives. KIL is a founding member of the Northern Virginia based collective Double Dollars. KIL slowly surfaced with singles “HEY!” and “TOMFOOLERY” and “5 BUCKS” through 2018 and 2019. In 2020, KIL would release the singles “ain’t shit change”and “head to toe” leading up to the Double Dollars collective project, “nice to meet you”. In 2021, KIL would release the singles “OBNOXIOUS!”, “FOR FUCK’S SAKE! and “JUST WATCH” leading up to his first project “THE ROARING TWENTIES”. In 2022, KIL would executively produce Double Dollars artist KIMO’s project, “FULL HEART”. In 2023, KIL would release the singles “IT IS WHAT IT IS”, “DIME BAG”, “PEACE FOR SUMMER” and “DESIGNER URGES” leading up to the release of his second project, “HERE, THERE, EVERYWHERE”.
