Giorgos Nikiforou Zervakis was born and raised in Messara, Crete. He studied and graduated from the School of Agricultural Technology of Heraklion Crete while at a young age she was taught Cretan music. He writes lyrics and composes songs and plays Cretan lyre, guitar, mandolin. With power from tradition, he puts forward his own musical proposal, daring to branching out and using modern musical forms, exquisitely given by his personal style, which nevertheless remains purely traditional. He has participated in major music festivals in Germany, Belgium, Cyprus and Greece. Three personal discs have been released: - "Heimona ferneis" (Phaistos 2005) - '' Mosaic '' (2014) - '' Cretan Horizon '' (Feelgood Records 2016) - “Stavros Tou Notou -Live” (2019) In the summer 2005-2006 he wrote music for the festival of the Archaic Theater that took part in the festivities of Crete with the participation of theatrical groups from all over Greece and specifically for the project "Iphigenia en Avlidi" directed by Giorgos Christinidis. He has already played collaborations such as Vassilis Skoulas, Psarantonis, Nikos Stratakis, Tzortzina Alexakis and Italian Gianfranco Maranco. In August 2015 he collaborates with Leonidas Balafas and director Thodoris Papadoulakis for the song "Standing on My Feet" describing on the political scene of our country a song that made a special sense of public opinion and characterized the struggles of the Greeks during the period monumental years.
