ARON ACCURSO (he/him) (Composer, Creator) loves to write musical theatre and choral pieces, work as a music director (he is the Associate Music Director for Aladdin on Broadway), and create with his wife, Rachel Griffin, for their toddler educational YouTube Channel, “Songs for Littles,” which garners about one million views per day. His original musical, The Dogs of Pripyat (with Jill Abramovitz and Leah Napolin) won several awards including the Jerry Bock Award, and the Weston New Musical Award. He wrote a musical advocating for mental health awareness with Rachel called We Have Apples. Other original shows include Seeing Red (with Joey Mazzarino) and Strega Nona. Other Broadway keyboard and/or conducting credits include: Nice Work If You Can Get It, Sister Act, The Little Mermaid. He was the Musical Director/Incidental Music Arranger for Calvin Berger, and for Up Here at La Jolla, a new musical by Bobby Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez. His choral commissions include The University of Michigan, Colorado Children’s Chorale, and the Tennessee All-State Choir. Originally from Colorado, Aron received a BA in Music Theory/Composition from St. Olaf College in Minnesota. He lives with Rachel and their son, Thomas, in NYC. Aronaccurso.com
