Shareef Keyes is a singer, a rapper, a producer - an enigmatic talent and collaborator with some of the best in music right now. He cites a range of musical stylings as inspiration: from Prince to Wu-Tang, to Janelle Monae to 50 Cent. Shareef has featured on tracks with rap legends such as Ghostface Killah and Bun B, torn down the house in support of jazz funk icon Roy Ayers, and stays at work cooking up genre-busting melody likening him to contemporary references like Anderson .Paak and Masego. Shareef came on the scene with his infectiously nostalgic funk album Cooking Something, amassing a loyal following both online and on-stage with his stand out live performances. He followed up his debut with the sultry-smooth R&B inspired project My Mood, propelling him towards a multi-year U.S. tour that found Shareef selling out shows and playing festivals from everywhere from Brooklyn to Los Angeles. In 2021, Shareef Keyes is back and reinvented once again - a matured, still imperfect new father on his path to becoming this generation’s undisputed groove king.
