Silent Stranger® is an independent rock band with origins in Gananoque, Ontario, Canada, when I was asked by some high school friends, to join their existing five-piece band “Lift” in 1976, as their new guitarist. I had been writing music since learning guitar, but never presented any songs to the band. Later in Trenton, Ontario, Canada, where the band began as “Generation” in 1982, we were also writing original material and playing gigs around our local area. So in the spring of 1988 we decided to record some of our original songs in a local studio, which was near the end of our time together due to day-job requirements. I kept writing songs after our split, but didn’t have the resources to move beyond the demo stage of recording. In the summer of 2012 while living in Cornwall, Ontario, Canada, I began making music videos using the audio from my 1988 demo songs and put them on YouTube under the name Silent Stranger®. In the spring of 2015 I began booking studio time and studio musicians to get my demos and new songs recorded. These are the songs you find here.
